   Koala Bear Fingerprints

What is so unusual about koala bear fingerprints? They are almost identical to human finger prints. Much like chimpanzee finger prints, koala bear fingerprints are the same shape and size and feature similar patters of swirls and lines.

   Peanuts Are NOT Nuts!

Peanuts are NOT nuts! If they are not nuts, then what are they? They are legumes. Real nuts (also called drupes) grow on trees while peanuts grow underground.

   Who Invented the Fly Swatter?
Frank H. Rose, a schoolteacher by trade, is the man who invented the fly swatter. It was 1905 and he attached a piece of wire screening to a yardstick. He originally called it a “fly bat”.
