Going to give quilting a try.  Need a new Comforter for my bed.  Going to try to make it instead of buying it.  Got several months to get it done.

It takes works that's for sure.  Can't find a heavy comforter at Walmart that will keep us warm enough.

My other half has been into sewing and fashion and has a degree in it. She also sells sewing machines...some costing up to $10,000! She just got into quilting recently and loves it. I'll try to get some pics of some of the things she is making.

That would be great.  The daughter is into embroidery she was pricing machines they are very expensive.

Yes, they are expensive but you can take a photo and have the machine embroider it! And it will look great!! Any photo will work.

Some of the more expensive ones have a computer built into it. Most can attach to a PC and download any image and recreate it.
