11 Emergency food Items That last a life time
« on: March 12, 2013, 01:00:47 PM »
Did you know that with proper storage techniques, you can have a lifetime supply of certain foods?  Certain foods can stand the test of time, and continue being a lifeline to the families that stored it.  Knowing which foods last indefinitely and how to store them are you keys to success.

The honey info was a surprise to me.  I thought once the honey started crystallizing  it was bad.  I didn't know you could heat it up and use it longer.

The wife threw out a big jar of honey. I ask her why. I then told her all she had to do is heat it up and it turns right back to honey. She didn't know that either

Yes, I knew about those. I buy honey in a quart container. It lasts me a long time. :)
